Tours
Do you offer fixed tour itineraries? No. At Yakushima Nature, every tour is designed around each guest's interests, travel style, and pace. We offer sample journeys, but every private tour is personalized based on your preferences, the weather, and nature conditions on the day.
Can you recommend the best tour for us? Yes. We'll listen to your interests, travel style, fitness level, and schedule, then suggest the most suitable private tour for you.
Are your tours private? Yes. All of our tours are fully private. You'll enjoy Yakushima at your own pace without being part of a mixed group.
Do you offer half-day tours? Yes. We offer both half-day and full-day private tours depending on your schedule and interests.
Can I join alone? Absolutely. Many of our guests travel solo, and we're happy to create a tour just for you.
Are children welcome? Yes. We can recommend routes and activities suitable for children of different ages.
Do you provide tours in English? Yes. We offer private Yakushima tours in English.
Can the itinerary change on the day? Yes. If necessary, we may adjust the itinerary depending on the weather, trail conditions, or your pace to ensure the best possible experience.
Do you offer snorkeling, kayaking, or diving tours? No. We specialize in private nature tours, hiking, forest walks, and sightseeing around Yakushima. If you're interested in snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, or diving, we'd be happy to recommend trusted local operators.
Booking
Q. How far in advance should I book? A. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during busy seasons. If availability allows, we accept bookings up to two days before the tour.
Q. How can I pay? A. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards.
Q. What is your cancellation policy? A. A 20% administrative fee is required to confirm your booking. If you cancel your reservation, the following cancellation fees apply: Up to 14 days before the tour: 20% The day before the tour: 50% On the day of the tour: 100% The 20% administrative fee is non-refundable, even if the tour cannot be conducted due to adverse weather conditions.
Q. Do you provide hotel pick-up? A. Yes. Complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off are available for guests joining our tours. This service is provided only as part of your guided tour and is not available separately.
