Met Yakushima. And started living there.
At the time, I was living in Roppongi, Tokyo, but I had lost my way in life and embarked on a journey to find myself. During that journey, I arrived at Yakushima.
At that time, I was physically and mentally exhausted, but I was healed by the nature of Yakushima and found my place in the world.
Since I encountered Yakushima, I have come to face the greatness of nature.
I realized that nature is always our guide and is an irreplaceable part of our lives. I also realized that we humans are part of nature.
Until 2009
I had a lot of fun on Yakushima!
In 2009
I started working as a nature guide with the concept of experiencing Yakushima in its entirety, using the sea, rivers, mountains, and villages as my field.
Currently
I mainly work as a nature guide in English and Japanese. I am good at a flexible guide style that makes use of my past experience.
