Before the typhoon passed I decided to run to the highest peak of Yakushima. In the rain and in the fog it was a magnificent journey.

It's a 16km route, with a difference in altitude of 900m. It took me a little over 4 hours. I didn't think I would be so cold, in fact at 1900m altitude the temperature can drop especially with the wind and the rain .

My friend Totoro accompanied me, and he seemed comfortable with his fur. An incredible experience that I hope to share.

I was even able to walk with a large deer which was certainly filling its stomach with the arrival of the typhoon.
